What personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
OnCloud Hosting (“we”, “us”) provides cloud servers and object storage. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at support@oncloudhosting.online.
2. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, company name and password. We store passwords only as a one-way hash; we can never see them.
- Team details: the email addresses of people you invite and the roles you give them.
- Service details: the droplets, storage buckets, domains and SSH public keys on your account, and their settings.
- Billing details: what you bought, amounts, bills and payment status. Card payments are handled by Bachs; we receive a payment reference and status, never your card number.
- Technical details: IP address, browser type and request logs, kept to run and secure the Services.
We don't look at the contents of the files and applications you run or store, except where needed to provide support you ask for, or where the law requires it.
3. How we use it
- to create and secure your account, including emailing verification and password-reset codes;
- to provide the Services you order and keep them running;
- to bill you, take payments and send receipts;
- to send team invitations you ask us to send;
- to answer support requests and tell you about important changes to your account or these policies;
- to prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and service information while your account is open. When you close your account, we delete your servers, stored data and account details. We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Security logs are kept for a limited time.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, signed and verified payment notifications, and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it private.
8. Your choices and rights
You can see and update your name and company name in Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to correct or delete it, or to object to how we use it. Email support@oncloudhosting.online and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a significant way, we'll tell account owners by email or in the dashboard before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
