Terms of Service

Last updated August 5, 2026

Plain-language terms for using OnCloud Hosting. Please read them before you create an account.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of OnCloud Hosting's website, dashboard, API and services (together, the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” means that company.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate information, including a working email address that you verify with the code we send.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done under your account.
  • The account owner can invite teammates and give them roles (Admin, Member or Billing). The owner is responsible for what teammates do and for removing access they no longer need.
  • Tell us straight away at support@oncloudhosting.online if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

3. The Services

We provide cloud servers (“droplets”), S3-compatible object storage and related features. Each droplet size and storage plan has the resources, transfer and domain allowance shown when you order it. We may improve, change or retire features; if we retire something you pay for, we'll give you reasonable notice.

You are responsible for what you run and store on the Services, including backups of your own data. Weekly backups, where offered, are a convenience and not a guarantee that data can be restored.

4. Prices, billing and payment

  • Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay. Your account may have its own agreed prices, which are the ones shown in your dashboard.
  • Each droplet and storage bucket is paid for when you create it, then billed monthly. Monthly bills appear on your Billing page and are due by the date shown on the bill.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider, Bachs. We never receive or store your full card details. Your bank or card issuer may add its own fees.
  • Destroying a droplet or deleting a bucket stops it being billed from the next bill. Amounts already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it or we agree otherwise.
  • If a bill stays unpaid after its due date, we may suspend the account until it is paid (see section 6).

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Services to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • send spam or run phishing, fraud or scams;
  • host or spread malware, or attack, scan or try to break into systems you don't own;
  • mine cryptocurrency, or use resources in a way that harms other customers or our infrastructure;
  • store or distribute child sexual abuse material, or content that promotes violence or terrorism;
  • get around limits, pricing or security controls, or resell the Services without our written permission.

We may remove content or limit a service that breaks these rules, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account if bills are overdue, if these Terms are broken, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Services or other customers. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. A suspended account can sign in and see its services but can't create new ones.

You can stop using the Services at any time by destroying your droplets and deleting your buckets, and you can ask us to close your account at support@oncloudhosting.online. When an account is closed, its servers and stored data are deleted and can't be recovered, so export anything you need first.

7. Your data

You keep all rights to the data you put on the Services. You give us only the permission we need to run the Services for you (for example, to store, back up and transmit it). How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and warranties

We work to keep the Services available and secure, but they are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that they will meet a particular purpose. Planned maintenance may occasionally cause short interruptions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, OnCloud Hosting is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event that caused the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we'll tell account owners by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where OnCloud Hosting is registered, and disputes will be handled by its courts, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
